Sunday Morning

A thin strip of light escapes from behind the curtain, casting light and shadows on a usually dark corner. I breathe in the quietude. My skin tingles with the cool morning air.
The alarm clock displays a later hour. I pull the covers over me and sink deeper into the comforts of the bed. Another hour of slumber. Another hour of dreams.
