Passions are the main drivers in my life, and such is my passion for the written word. I’ve been writing in one form or another since my formative years, therefore it seemed appropriate to add a blog to the répertoire.

BeMused, the blog, was born in August 2007 and resumed in December 2007 after a brief interlude. Originally on the Blogger platform, I took the plunge to the dark side and moved to WordPress in February 2008.

Cléa is my nom de plume, created for the launch of cbmused.com. Prior to that, I was simply known as Bemused. The name Cléa has ambiguous origins, occasionally linked to the more popular Cleo, or Clio the muse of history with her parchment scroll or a set of tablets. Cléa, however, prefers an electronic tablet and employs a more contemporary plume to tease the life into words.

Fleeting experiences, snippets of life, whimsical thoughts, and naughty observations as seen through the mischievous eye of a woman who is just at home with Martinis as she is with Caffè Latte.
