Martini Moments… When the Vodka has Run Out
1. When the neighbours gave me excess lemons from their tree, it was a sure sign that I am meant to put the tequila to good use and make one large Margarita.
2. It is no coincidence that since I was given left over mint leaves from Person A and fresh limes from Person B, I am meant to make a Mojito.
3. The little tipple of brandy left in the bottle is destined to be used in a flambé unless … sorry, gone.
4. I always knew that I kept a miniature bottle of Jack Daniels for a reason. And that is to soak the raisins in it when making banana bread.
5. Now that the Vodka has run out, it is time to make a Gin Martini, stirred not shaken. Until I replenish the reserves.
Note:
I will be taking a break from this space. Updates, as well my online presence have been scarce of late as my attention is now focussed on life and other priorities. Until the next time our paths cross… take care.
Cléa
Thank you.
I know what you mean…I guess I’m back to a break too since I re-privatized my blog. Things are just too busy. And it’s a good thing I guess.
Take care and I’m sure we’ll be in touch.
Casey: You’re welcome. Please stay in touch.
SM: I noticed it on the weekend so I gathered the same. I’m pleased that it’s a good thing for you. And definitely!
Don’t stay away too long! You will be missed.
Mrs Mahd: I’ll do my best. You too. And there’s always email
We will wait until the muse pulls you back with her siren song. Take care.
Mahd: Thank you. If I find the Muse, or if he finds me, I’ll be rushing back here to share.
we’ll miss you
1. I am soooo jealous! My poor lemon tree managed one tiny, dry piece of woody friut last year.

2. It’s a kind of alco-karma.
3. Well… it asked for it…
4. So Jack lives in your bread box now?
5. Sounds like your liquor cabinet is nearing the sad state mine is in! I need a trip to the spirit isle of Dan Murphy’s! STAT!
You too Cléa. =)
Ellamir: Thank you.
Gboy:
1. Sounds like my lime tree. Time to get rid of the dead wood.
2. Hehe… I like that!
3. Loud and clear!
4. Verry good. Very very good! But no. I ate him.
5. You and me both. Replenished on the weekend. The world is back in order now
I hear ya. … and bloggin’ just ain’t what it used to be, huh?
Enjoy your time away — have a tottie for me, k? =)
LB: I think we’ve covered that topic many times in the past. For me, the drive to share isn’t that strong any more. At least for the moment.
I’ll have a few… then one more for you
I am sure… you will be back… I will wait for you
