    That’s a cool shot!

Oh, and congrats on becoming an Auntie!  The comments were already closed on that post.  I got so behind on blog reading!

  2. peefer says:

Are you sure it’s not a martini glass?

  3. Die Muräne says:

hu, did you take this picture? the meeting of this 3 planets supports the possitive progress in many things (unfortunately not for long). it’s  rather rare that you can see them so clear.

  6. Die Muräne says:

ehm, well, 3 comments… this must be a good sign ;)

  7. Grad School Reject says:

Great pic.  Is now the time to insert a “Uranus” joke, or would you prefer me to hold onto that for a post or two?

  8. almostloved says:

I also took a pic of that planet conjunction or whatever they call it. It’s been three nights since I first saw this and it’s still there – but the position’s changed. Today on my side of the world, Venus and Jupiter are below the moon. Very exciting! (yes my life is boring and little things like this excite me.)

  9. Sidney says:

Looks like you killed some planets…

  10. Cléa says:

Sicilian Mama: Thank you!! And thank you on the congrats, I must catch up with you too. Seems like it’s the year for the boys! :)

Peefer: Any person who thinks I look up at the heavens and see a Martini glass, is a person I’d like to meet.

    Die Muräne: Yes
    Die Muräne: I
    Die Muräne: Did

Die Muräne: Good things have to come in 3s! :D
I used a telephoto lens and believe or not, it was handheld. I didn’t breathe when I tripped the shutter… The other shots were shaky, like I’ve been on the Martini Peefer mentions…

GSR: You have the floor… and the comment box… Don’t keep me waiting!

AlmostLoved: This is exciting news! Photography, the stars, the moon. Wait… maybe I don’t have a life either…

EM: Grazie! As they say, smile, and the heavens smile at you.

Sidney: Killed them?? Looks like Jupiter, the one on the right was winking at me…

That’s a great picture!  A good sign to have over you. I would say.

    Keep us posted on everything!

  12. egan says:

Best picture I’ve seen in a long time, minus all those cool beach ones where I know you’re hiding.

  13. Cléa says:

Eric: I admit that looking up at the sky that evening left me wondering why I don’t do it more often.

Egan: Hehe… you need a magnifying glass for those!

  14. egan says:

    for those… or for mine?

  15. Cléa says:

egan: For those beach ones where I’m (supposedly) hiding…

  16. Kamigoroshi says:

In a way, it also means that all of us that looked up at the same sky shared in those moments, something beautiful together.

Woohoo!! I shared a beautiful moment with you!

  17. Cléa says:

Kami: Wow… what a lovely way of putting it!

  18. gboy says:

I’ve been looking out over the sea at that view the last few evenings and saying to myself, “hmmm… must get a picture of that”.

I’m glad someone did. Good work Cléa!

  19. Cléa says:

Gboy: I’d love to see that view from your part of the world. Over the sea, I’m sure it would look more magical that my perspective :)

  20. Lil Bit says:

Oooooooooooo! Excellent shot! Thx for sharing this, it’s a diff view from my side of the globe.

  21. Cléa says:

LB: I heard it was almost like a frownie from your side. Either way, it would have been spectacular!
