As a woman with a penchant for nostalgia, particularly the good kind, I tend to engage in a little navel gazing and quiet nods to tiny milestones. Today my domain is one month old.

Whilst it is still in its infancy, it has already undergone a few changes. Last week on Feb 21, I quietly said goodbye to the old and slipped in a new template with extended functionality, including toggling posts and sidebar and a different photograph on each page. As a keen amateur photographer, I will occasionally share the world through my camera lens in the Photo Gallery.

A couple of days ago, I added the Martini touch to the template with new icons I have developed. I made a new banner for the About page, and created the Martini Lounge, previously the Chalkboard, with a cool banner design.

As many of you are on the Blogger platform, my avatar has changed as of today. And whilst these cosmetic changes help to make me settle in, it is you, the readers who have been most welcoming, and I thank you for your visits and engaging comments.

If a blog or a site is to have a purpose, mine is a medium for me to write freely, to explore ideas and communicate. While I will occasionally look back with a quiet longing, my plans for the future fill me with excitement.

Change, with a dash of nostalgia, has so far been good to me.

I’ve noticed and appreciated all of your changes. I’ve also noticed that no matter how much you change the appearance you still give me the same amount of hell. I won’t lie - it is kid of a turn on….I also may be mostly drunk right now.

And still allows room to grow too. There is plenty of that still left to play around with. Change sometimes makes things better, even after the initial hiccups that are those steep learning curves and comforting pasts we have yet to let go off.

We haven’t seen the end of the leather wearing, whip totting, keyboard wielding mistress of the domain. Not by a long shot.

I never noticed the photo gallery before. Is that you looking out into the ocean?

I just come here for the pictures of hot chicks.

GSR: Glad they were noticed, although the template was a subtle change, it took a lot of effort.

Ooooh, I love drunken comments! And for that, I’ll be sure to give you more hell :P Are you up for it??

Kami: May I call you Kami? You may call me lazy :P

There certainly is a lot more to come, including at least 7 posts ready to go. I’m on a roll!

You haven’t even seen the start of it! ;)

Gorilla B: The page is still under construction, and I will enable page per photo comments soon. That photo in question is not me. I’m often behind the camera and have yet to master self-portraits, even inconspicuous ones :)

Just for you Zen, a picture of 2 hot chicks! And another if you look closely…

  6. Kamigoroshi says:

    Sure lazy. :P

Well if we haven’t seen the start of it. Why are we still waiting? :)

  7. Cléa says:

    Fine Kami :P

Because some things can’t be hurried… and the wait will be worth it :)

  8. gboy says:

It’s looking pretty damn good IMHO. ;)

Gboy: thank you. It’s been quite a learning curve, aided by the right alcoholic beverages :)
